Exploring the Hottest New Construction in Silicon Valley: A Mountain View Townhome Near Tech

A brand-new 3-bed townhome minutes from Google and Caltrain

"Jessica, is there anywhere out here that isn't a 40-year-old resale?" I get asked this constantly. Most of the time, the honest answer is not really. But every once in a while, a community like this one in Mountain View comes along, and it's worth stopping the car for.

With clean modern lines and a charming porch entry, this brand-new townhome community has been selling fast. Here's everything it offers.

A Light-Filled Main Living Level

Like most Silicon Valley townhomes, this one builds up rather than out, with carpeted stairs connecting three levels. There's no ground-floor bedroom in this plan, but it makes up for that in other ways.

The open-concept main level is the star, with natural light pouring in from every direction:

  • Large windows topped with transom windows, plus a Juliet balcony with French doors
  • A corner-unit layout for even more light
  • A dining area that seats six
  • Hardwood floors throughout, with carpet only on the stairs

If you work long days at a desk in tech or AI, that natural light makes a real difference at home.

The Kitchen: Quartz, Blue-Gray Cabinets and Smart Storage

Modern kitchen with blue-gray cabinets and stainless steel appliances in a new Mountain View townhome
Blue-gray cabinets and a quartz island give this kitchen its own personality.

The kitchen features a quartz island with soft blue veining that matches unique blue-gray cabinets, a bold departure from the usual white or dark wood. Other highlights:

  • Exposed-bulb pendant lights over the island with overhang seating
  • A deep, rounded stainless steel sink and an adjacent dishwasher
  • A five-zone smooth-top range, including a warming zone, plus a full-size oven
  • A built-in microwave below the counter
  • An oversized stainless refrigerator with a pull-out freezer
  • An outlet built into the island for working while you cook

The walk-in pantry is ideal for hiding your snack stash.

A walk-in pantry with plenty of shelving sits just off the kitchen.

The powder room features large hex tile and matching cabinetry, and a coat closet completes the level.

Upstairs: Three Bedrooms with Individual Climate Control

The primary bath's walk-in shower is roomy and neatly finished.

The top floor starts with an oversized stacked washer and dryer that comes with the home. A hall bathroom with a tub, horizontal subway tile and a medicine cabinet serves the two secondary bedrooms.

Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit, so you can cool only the rooms you're using and save on energy. Both secondary bedrooms have spacious sliding-door closets.

The corner primary suite includes built-in ceiling speakers for a home-theater feel, a deep walk-in closet and extra windows. The primary bathroom has dual vanities, a medicine cabinet, a large tiled walk-in shower with clean Schluter edge trim and a private water closet.

Location: Minutes from Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Nvidia

In most of Silicon Valley, you drive everywhere. This Mountain View location is different.

  • Walkable errands: Cafes, groceries, a neighborhood park with plenty of amenities, and local coffee and pizza spots.
  • Freeways: Highway 101 and Highway 85 are close by.
  • Caltrain: Just a few minutes away.
  • Tech campuses: Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Nvidia and the Shoreline area are all minutes away.
  • Schools: Mountain View is known for highly rated schools. I can help you confirm the boundaries with the district.

Shorter commutes mean more time at home with friends, family and pets. Comparing cities? Explore Silicon Valley neighborhoods on my website.
